synopsis
Fashionable and upbeat high schooler Aya loves listening to rock, but no one else seems to share her interest…until she meets a cool, stylish employee at a CD shop. Dressed in black from head to toe, he has this air of mystery about him, and his taste in music is impeccable. Aya falls hard for him―not knowing her crush is actually her female classmate Mitsuki! For her part, Mitsuki generally keeps to herself and avoids standing out at school. But given that she sits right next to Aya, Mitsuki’s all too aware of the other girl’s feelings, and she’s afraid to reveal the truth. So why does she find herself talking with Aya more and more…?
rant
- looovveedd this manga!! Honestly basically perfect
- The art was amazing legit the best art I’ve even seen in a manga
- Loved Aya and Mitsuki they were both very believable high school students – no weird shit
- Followed the traditional manga drama but less dramatic more fluffy angsty vibes
- Loved that Aya figures out who Mitsuki is fairly quickly and they resolve that problem pretty fast I was scared she was gonna drag it multiple vol.
- Loved that it didn’t matter to Aya that her crush was now on a girl instead of a boy she legit didn’t care and just kept on crushing
- Mitsuki’s uncle is also super cool and is like the opposite of most father figures I see in manga which was refreshing
- Aya taking care of her brothers a lot was adorable
- The green background eats
- Aya’s friends are pretty trash but the boy who I can’t remember the name of was cool and I love that he’s a little instigator
- Can’t wait for the next volumes to come out I’m hoping so hard that it ends up being a looongg series and that Aya and Mitsuki admit their feeling for each other sooner rather than later
