synopsis

“Few embody change more than you, Doctor Ravenwood.”

In a time of new beginnings, the past still holds power over the future.

With the EVE Witchcraft Conservatory on the verge of opening its doors, Millie Brown and the newly-minted Doctor Victoria Ravenwood return home to Longstown changed. After years-long battles both figurative and literal, they are welcomed back just in time to have the futures of 24 would-be witches placed in their hands while the eyes of the world watch. But the past will not let go so easily, and Millie, Victoria and Katya will have to find the courage to face it or risk shattering EVE from the inside out. To do so, they will need each other more than ever, and in ways they never imagined. Emotions run high as change runs rampant, and only the strength of their love for one another as friends, lovers and sisters will determine whether they lead EVE into a gathering dusk or a bright new dawn.

  • THE TIME JUMP ‐ wasn’t expecting that for some reason but there were mentions of Hitler and I’m scared now
  • Millie and Elise are just cuter than ever now AND THEYRE MARRIED THATS RIGHT FUCK THE PATRIARCHYthey’re basically soulmates and bonded pyschically ‐ now Vita and Katya next pls lol
  • Millie and Niamh in this were just so fricking cute ‐ Millie calling her Mom (all the hearts) ‐ Niamh revealing everything about her past ugh it was so emotional and sweet ‐ although I don’t really agree w/ her take on not wanting to go the mission :/ they’re such a good duo they just make sense
  • Having a full fledge school now and moving out of their old house + shed made me kind of sad ‐ they’re really all grown up now
  • Selene and Svet are pretty much MIA the whole book :/
  • It felt so weird that Victoria’s whole story line in this book was just like her getting told that her view point on everything is just wrong / too harsh like let my girl breathe pls she was getting set straight left and right
  • Also there was no real celebration for Victoria coming home and finishing school they just went straight to business :/ ‐ well maybe the opera ig?
  • This one was really slownot really any big conflict felt like it was building up to something big in the next book maybe?
  • Millie and Elise reuniting
  • Millie and Elise’s wedding
  • Vickie and Katya dancing
  • Katya confessing her feeling and Vickie reciprocating
