rant
- This book was more on par w/ the first / third book I read ‐ more good than great
- I ended up skimming through a lot of the play by plays during the games – not really a huge fan of long game descriptions it lowkey gets boring
- This was mostly lighthearted and felt very comforting
- @ this point I have grown super attached to the side characters ‐ I almost want them to each have their own book bc I’m that interested in their lives ‐ specifically Ellie, Gabe, and Maddie + Angie
- The main conflict centered around issues w/ family and past traumas and the way that Emma and Jaime comforted each other was cute
- I thought it was funny that I was literally watching the Japan vs USA quarterfinal olympic game @ the same time I was reading about Emma and Jaime were competing in the WC
- Would only read again if I’m re-reading the entire series
noted & quoted
- Winning the WC
- Moving into Jaime’s apartment
- Comforting each other
