synopsis

Robin’s New Year’s resolution to change her eating habits is as unusual as she is. Unlike millions of other women, she isn’t tempted by chocolate or junk food. She’s a vampire, determined to fight her craving for a pint of O negative. When she goes to an AA meeting, hoping for advice on fighting her addiction, she meets Alana, a woman who battles her own demons. Despite their determination not to get involved, the attraction is undeniable. Is it just bloodlust that makes Robin think Alana looks good enough to eat, or is it something more? Will it even matter once Alana finds out who Robin really is?Robin’s New Year’s resolution to change her eating habits is as unusual as she is. • I honestly don’t have much to say about this one bc it wasn’t particularly memorable
  • I’m not sure why I keep reading Jae’s books when I don’t particularly like them that much lolproabaly bc her writing style is just that good that ik eventually she will wow w/ me the plot
  • This book was kind of insta love, or at least very fast paced in the romance element ‐ it kind of surprised that the insta love part came from the not vampire, which I liked
  • I definitely liked this for a vampire book bc it wasn’t too heavy on the weird vampire stuff that happens in most of these fantasy novels ‐ only cliche thing was her wanting to drink everyone’s blood but that’s kind of par for like any and every vampire book ‐ everything else about Robin was pretty normal
  • This also was a sapphic urban fantasy which I honestly don’t come across very often ‐ especially ones w/ good writing
  • I would write more but I honestly cannot remember anything that happens in this book worth noting ‐ can’t even remember much about the romance beside Alana being really into Robin and needing to check on her like all the time
  • Not sure if I would read again
  • Going to each others apartments
