Becoming a parent is the scariest fucking thing Beauregard Lionett has ever done.

And she’s done some scary fucking shit.

Like proposing to Yasha.

Yet, this is far more terrifying.

And the fact that you don’t feel that fear until you’re knee-deep in the trenches, is what makes it so much worse.

Beau blames Jester for it, since she was the one to draw up a gorgeous sketch of Yasha sitting in a windowsill, cradling a bundle in her arms while white-feathered wings sprouted from her back – enveloping both herself and the bundle she held to her chest.

Beauregard Lionett hasn’t been able to get that particular image out of her head ever since.
